Level I Coaching Plan:

The Level I Multisport/Triathlon coaching plan is an individualized, monthly (4-week) training plan that your CNS coach designs for you to best accomplish your triathlon or multisport goals. As a new client, you will complete a brief questionnaire detailing your fitness and health background as well as a questionnaire regarding your season goals. After an initial consultation by phone or Skype, your coach will begin preparing your training plan to match your current fitness and goal fitness levels, as well as training time available. The plan will be designed to encourage adherence and enjoyment by emphasizing short-term, manageable goals and mastery of sport skills before proceeding to more challenging workouts.

The Level I plan incorporates daily review and feedback via email on key daily workouts. The review and feedback process is intended to ensure that your body is responding well to the training, you are feeling good about your progress, and that you have the opportunity to discuss any questions about your training and/or race preparation. Also included in the Level I plan is race-phase preparation and a race-day plan. The race-day plan will be prepared for you 3-10 days prior to your race and it will take into account various training metrics, weather conditions, and overall fitness status.

The Level I plan will be uploaded to www.trainingpeaks.com, an online customized coaching software that allows your coach to upload your tailored program and make changes "on the fly", if needed. You will be given a unique username and password to access your account and you will be able to download and print your workouts from TrainingPeaks and also upload your own workout information, including exercise files from many training devices such as heart rate monitors, GPS watches/monitors, power meters, etc. As an additional convenience, TrainingPeaks is available as a smartphone App and therefore you can view your most up-to-date training information from various devices.

Level II Coaching Plan:

The Level II Single Sport coaching plan is also an individualized, monthly (4-week) training plan that your CNS coach designs for you to best accomplish your athletic goals in your chosen sport. As a new client, you will complete a brief questionnaire detailing your fitness and health background as well as a questionnaire regarding your season goals. After an initial consultation by phone or Skype, your coach will begin preparing your training plan to match your current fitness and goal fitness levels, as well as training time available. The plan will be designed to encourage adherence and enjoyment by emphasizing short-term, manageable goals and mastery of sport skills before proceeding to more challenging workouts.
